Mahadev Temple
at Latikoili also known as Shiva Temple located west of Kakrebihar temple is
one of the important pilgrimage for hindus. This temple was restored when King
Birendra Bir Bikram Shahdev visited and order to District Panchayt to restored.
According to the Inscription. found at surroundings of temple,it is built by
the Yogi Aatmanath , followers of Yogi Langarnath on dated 1639 B.S. This temple
was reconstructed on 2040 B.S by District panchayt of Surkhet.The restoration
of temple was done by craftsman of Bhaktapur.
This temple is famous among hindus and Buddhist. thousands of pilgrims come to visit during Shivratri ,Teej and other important festival.
