In Photos ; Renovation and Upgrading of Jumla Airport !!!

Due to grass grown up on runway and degraded of blacktopped previously Jumla airport was closed for one month for maintenance on winter later due to cold work was stopped on halfway. length of Jumla airport  is 670m and  lies at 2347 m above sea level.

It is one of the dangerous airport in Nepal. Again, Jumla airport is closed for 20 days on 05 Baisakh 2075 to continue remaining works of renovation and upgrading of runway and parking lot. Due to gear up on 2nd phase of work it seems maintenance of runway and parking area is finishing on time. 
For maintenance airport was completely closed for several months.To be noted , maintenance of Jumla airport is undergoing after 2040 B.S.

Sinja,an important landmark of Khasa Kingdom
