WHAT TO DO

Jumla is still "off the beaten path" and although there are not many sights geared at tourists there are still many places to see. In particular, places of natural beauty and historical interest.

PLACES TO VISIT IN JUMLA

- Visit the famous Chandanath & Bhairavnath Temple in Jumla Bazaar.

- Tatopani Hot Springs in Jarmi.

- Monastery in Jumla Bazaara and newly constructed Stupa above Singachaur village .

- The Khas Museum promoted by Rural Community Development Service.

- Visit Malavir Bhagawati temple which is on the top of Malavir Village.

- A Day Hike to Chimara Malika,also known as View point of highest mountain of Karnali called Mt.Kanirowa and Mt Patarasi as well as Jumla valley. These days we do provide camping service to this place.

- A day hike to Ganesh cave south of Khalanga bazaar, a good jungle walk with beautiful view of Khalanga bazaar.

ON THE WAY TO JUMLA

If you are coming via Nepaljung :

- Banke National Park close to Kohalpur (an hour)
- See dolphins in the Karnali River
- Visit Bardia National Park (6o km/about an hour and a half)

If you are coming via Surkhet then you could visit the Kakrebihar, Dailekh bazaar and Historically important Ford,and many religious sites including Shreesthan Temple and ruins of Khasa Kingdom.
