Jumla is the gateway to the lesser known region of the Karnali Zone that aside from many trips within Jumla, one can use Jumla as start point, and can continue north to Mugu , Humla or trekking east to Dolpa.
Trekking in Jumla and the surrounding districts will appeal to those who like to travel on the road less travelled. Facilities are limited once you get outside of Jumla Bazaar, so visitors need to be comfortable with basic conditions. Accommodation is in local tea houses; only local food is available.
Guides and porters are available to assist visitors on their treks. It is also possible to organise camping but staying in local accommodation is easy.

The Ancient Trade route to Jumla from Dailekh
The interesting route that is recommended to trek and explore the routes that connected to rest of
the world from where the foods and stuffs transportated by muels,sheeps,donkeys and people
