Badi Malika temple is located at Bajura district at an elevation of 4267m.This temple is dedicated to the goddess Bhagawati. This is a beautiful place with naturally beautiful meadows and scenic beauties at the same time religiously and culturally important.
Every year during Janai Purnima the temple is visited by many devotees from different districts of Nepal. Badimalika is considered a very difficult to reach due to no proper trails.
Trek of 3/5 days from Martadi ,a headquarter of Bajura can be done and also from Jumla via Sinja can be done, Every year a representative with purohit and team goes to Badimalika before Gaijatra starts to offered Pooja at Badimalika Temple.This has been practices since the Khasa King rules in this region.
