Dashain fever...In photos of 3rd Jumli Horse Race Festival in Jumla

3rd Horse Race Festival was organised by a renowned club in Nepal namely Karnali Sports Club from Jumla.This race was inaugurated together by Mayor Ms.Kantika Sejuwal of Chandanath Municipality , Officer Mr.Gyanendra Budthapa,Chairperson of Ward 05,Chandanath Municipality Mr.Arjunsingh Kathayat and Mr.Birkha Singh Khatri, a senior horse expert from Jumla.He was appreciated by club this year as a respected person.This year 34 horses were participated out of 35 registered horses. The race was more about festival than that of competition.Every year during day of fulpati on Dashain , Jumli horse race festival used to organise.The festival used to organised in three category,namely Health , Free Race and Kadam/Pine called Steps.This year one of the horse was declare as Horse of the Year.

Horse of the year was declare of Raj Kumar Thapa horse from Guthichaur Rural Municipality,01.

Winners from each category get cash prizes of Rs.5000/-,Rs.3000/- and Rs.2000/- with certificates and local made trophies. 

The Horse of the year get additional Cash prize of Rs.5500/- with certificates and local made trophy.  All participants get Rs.500/- for feed of horses.
