The Nepal Army, hundreds of devotees bade farewell to the Jumla
team with five salutes to Watuk Bhairavnath, Baba Chandannath, Darwar Malika,
Badimalika, Bhagawati with a band and bugle. It is customary for Bajura's team
and Jumla's team to reach Badimalika for joint worship.
According to the custom of joint worship by then Jumla State and
Doti state under the leadership of the Grand Governor now a days, team led by an
employee District Administration Office, with some devotees and priests of the
Jumla left for Badimalika with a doli of worship from Jumla on the day of
Nakpanchami on Saun Shukla Purnima of every year. Before the team left for
Wadimalika, the traditional puja program was performed at Darwar Malika in
front of the District Administration Office.
Every year,the district administration office sent five items of
worship including gold tika, binayo, silver kangio, umbrella and muruli in a
bag called petaro to the Badimalika temple for worship. This year,a limited
number of teams have left the district and more devotees are being added from
the villages on the way. The team that went on the day of Nagpanchami reaches
Jumla only on the day before Krishna Janmasthami.
The government team of Jumla which left for Badimalika on Nakpanchami, will reach Jumla in 18 days before a day of Krishna Janmasthami.
