Tatopani Rural Municipality organised the "Guru Fukto Ropain Festival 2076" in the historically important Laachu Jeuwla ( Laachu field prepared by the Lachal Kirti Paikalo; Lachhal Kirti, a famous ruler and wrestler of the time and one of the disciples of the sage, cut the hillock near Khala chour, a place between the villages of Micha and Sridhuska, to let the water flow.) at Tatopani. The festival was organise with sslogon of " Laachu Jyulo Guru Fukto are Tatopani's Pride, Safeguarding Marsi Rice is our Mission" .
Though, Government of Nepal started to celebrate Ropain Festival from 2063 B.S and declare 15 Asar is a Ropain festival in Nepal but Tatopani Rural Municipality celebrated Ropain festival in Jestha 30. Because , it is beleived that from this Guru Fukto rice cultivation was started and spread in and around Jumla and in Karnali.
The traditional music fusioned with typical Ropain songs sung by the farmers and playing with mud fill the atmosphere in the fields. The monsoon festival related with agriculture and celebrated by the farmers these days is a center of attraction in Jumla.
